How much does the Triathlon Bike Rack cost?  Is there a quantity discount?

The original Triathlon Bike Racks are $45 per rack. The Triathlon Bike Rack Kits are $30 per kit (a single kit makes one rack, customer supplies their own main beam).  These prices are subject to change.  There are no quantity discounts at this time.

How much is shipping?

Is there a discount for non-profit or charitable organizations?

The vast majority of the people I deal with are involved with a non-profit or charitable organization.  There is no discounted price at this time.

Can the Triathlon Bike Rack be rented?  What is the cost of rental?

For many years, we have rented racks to events and event managers.  We charge $8 per rack, per event.  Availability of racks is variable, depending upon what other events we have using the racks at the time.  The person renting the racks is responsible for pick up and return of the racks.  Because of this, most rental is local.  I am located in Florida.

I have an event with X amount of athletes.  How many Triathlon Bike Racks do I need?

How much do you want to spend on racks, how much weight do you want to haul, and how much room do you want the athletes to have on the rack and in the transition area?  I do not recommend racking more than 8 bikes per rack, although I have seen it done before.  At most of my events, I rack 8 bikes per rack.  For elite athletes, I rack 4 to 6 bikes per rack.

Can you make a rack shorter than 10 feet?

One of the original purposes of the design was to allow the legs to fit inside the main beam.  This is one of the most distinguishing features of the Triathlon Bike Rack, in comparison to other racking systems.  If you have a shorter main beam length, you must store the legs separately.  I do not produce the original Triathlon Bike Rack shorter than 10 feet.  With the Triathlon Bike Rack Kit, because you provide your own main beam, you may customize the length of the main beam to whatever size you wish.
